Door Sill ideas?

Door Sill ideas?
I’ve noticed that my stock door sill covers/pads seem to be shrinking, leaving a line of glue. I was wondering what others have done to change the look there. I’m not interested in shiny metal or other ‘please scratch me’ applications.

You may want to check with a good body shop and see if they can either clean up the glue or remove the sill pads without damaging the painted surfaces. Then you could install new pads (if they are available) or consider having a sign shop create some custom pads to help protect the painted areas. Just some random thoughts here.

I removed mine. Cleaned up the area. Polished it up. And added my own C5 "An American Revolution" one piece doorsill decals.
However this went along with the race theme of my C5 FRC.
Just replace them with new ones or a fine pick from many aftermarket choices.
