I use the 5000 SLX on both my 2013 C6 with fender skirts, and my wife's 1999 C5. Just enough room for the quickjack and lift pucks as well as the small rubber blocks included (you also get larger ones as well).
I had a few problems with mine upon delivery:
Hydraulic reservoir tank was stripped out where the threaded vent screw mounts. The tank is plastic, the vent screw is metal.
One of the male quick connect fittings leaked and could not be repaired.
Both the tank and the fitting were replaced under warranty at no charge, although they did take 8 days to get them to me.
I'm satisfied with the Quickjack. It does work well and is much safer than jacking the car up. I still put a couple of jack stands under the car just as a precaution.
I was looking at them too, but I got lucky, a fellow who rents shop space from me bought a 4 post lift, which I have access to. WooHoo. A 4 post lift is double the cost of the quick jacks, but if you’ve got the room, very well worth the extra cost. Plus it gives you room to store two cars in the footprint of one. The portability of the quick jacks is pretty attractive though too.
