Default New look

experimented with plasti dip a little bit today, I really like the look of it, it's not perfect, I could have cleaned up the edges,

but for very little effort I am able to differentiate my corvette from the other c5's on the road!

I'd peel it off and try again.

This time remove the tape when the dip is still wet.

this is only staying on for probably a week at most, I am decided if I want to wrap the whole rear black or just that area, so this is sort of a test fit of types.

I have plenty of experience with plasti dip and wrapping, 2 of the 3 cars I've owned before this one I've wrapped, and the other I sprayed with plasti dip, this just came down to me not caring that much and using shoddy prep work. I appreciate the tip though.

Nice look; especially if you decide to keep it and go with a fully prepped job.

I think they should have come as a different color from the factory, especially on the lighter color cars. Color is great.

Changing the color of that part of the rear fascia looks very good. Go for it since you can do it yourself.
