Hi all, this is C5 Frederik from Germany, the one who sold the little lift many years ago. Hope, that some of you remember me.
After 18 wonderful years with my C5 I sold it. Too low for my 67 y/o back. Too low to enter steep parking house. Too fast for me on autobahn.
But still wanted a US V8, so I bought a 2008 Mustang Bullitt. Collectors car, only 10 kmiles, Dark Highland Green, no mods.
I want to thank all members of this forum for the help I got since 2000. It was a pleasure to be here, get all the technical infos. Great people.
Great discussions, imo best C5 forum. (the one in Germany always was a year behind in info LOL)
Best to you all
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

Remember you well, It was so nice of you to come back and wish us all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. One of my gun club buddies has the same mustang. we joke about the ground clearance difference
Hope you the best in 2019

Hi Frederik, I also remember you and the Mercedes jacks you were selling. I remember you posted here not too long ago. Glad you are well. Sounds like a great find with the 10K mile '08 Bullit Mustang.
Happy Holidays and don't be a stranger.
Mike
I too still carry your Mercedes jack in my tool bag; it was great of you to provide that opportunity for us! Viel spass with your Mustang, and Frohliche Weihnachten (sorry, no umlaut on my keyboard )

I´m so glad to read all these great answers. Will miss the discussions here.
Sold the C5 to a guy who wanted a Corvette since he was young. He is very proud to have it and he really takes care of her. Does not drive it in rain!
As he is not familiar with american technical articles he calls me once a month to get info about different things. So I know that my baby is in good hands.
The Bullitt is a different thing. No mods, original muffler (Corvette had Borla Stinger), slower ride on autobahn (max about 100 mph, I´m really old now)
Most people do not realise that this is a special edition. Though there are more Mustangs than Vettes in town (Mustang cheaper)
Best to you

I was just looking at an old pm from ya from 14yrs ago the other day, lol. Since I have my Z06 300kmh speedometer cluster out of the car now, I think I’ll take care of that air bag light. What does this Mercedes jack look like? Merry Christmas!
I only came into the C5 and Corvette world in 2014, and here to the forum in 2015.
Although I never had the pleasure to experience your contribution to the community, thank you , Sir.
Ewald, don't know if you'll receive this message but just wanted to say hello. I still remember the time we were able to get together, have a beer in Koln and discuss our Corvettes. Hope you are doing well and enjoying your Mustang. I too have sold my C-5 after 20 years and 53K miles of fun ownership. I am now going British with an Aston Martin Virage coupe.
Cheers,
Garrett
