Default Black grill screens

Before and after on my 2004 Z06 CE. I like blacking out the shiny screens. I bought aftermarket screens that attach the same as the stock screens and painted them satin black.

Getting the Vararam intake back in place is pissing me off!

I kept the stock screens if I ever want to return it to original.

I usually like the screens the original color, but I have to say the blacked out version does look good on your car.

I like the black functional screens too.
I had these on my car, 2 years before the Z06 was introduced.

I went crazy today with more screens.

The passenger side was a little more difficult than the drivers side. Not sure if I completely trust the tape to hold them in there.

Brake duct screens.

Looks good. How do they attach? I saw some cheap screens on ebay (For non Z) that are supposed to stay in there with friction...

Default Black grill screens

just curious as to why these versus black Race Mesh Grilles. Why would this set up be better. I’m second guessing placing an order now.

I purchase a set of the silver ones, but sent them back. I didn't like the way they looked on my MY Vette. It never occurred to me to paint them. Now I'm thinking of trying again, and painting them satin black. That I think will look good with the yellow.

btw....don't forget to clean the screens(alcohol) and primer them first before painting them....just reminding you in case it didn't occur to you to do this first...
