315 tire on 18 X 10.5 Rim
Question I finally got my FRC and now I want to upgrade to a larger size wheel and tire .Stock wheels are 17 and 18's . I want 18 X 9.5 in front with 275/30/18 tire and 18 X.10.5 rear with 315/30/18 tire .Can some tell me if that combo will work ? My main concern is the rear wheel combo, will it stick out -will it be flush. i'm looking to max the well ,I don't want to go past fenders but if i'm flush that would be perfect. Has any one had that rear combo ?The photo below here is a picture of a look i'm not sure of size but may be close .Not sure of size I don't know the owner of that Z06 .I just may go with Z06 size 295/ 35/18 ! Help ! The Black FRC with doors open. That's mine

A 315/30 tire may be a little too wide for a stock C5 wheel. The coupe and convertible rear wheels are 9.5" wide. Z06 rear wheels are an inch wider at 10.5". There is no 18.10" wide wheel; was that a typo?? And 315's even for a stock Z06 rear wheel may be too wide. If you go to the Tire Rack website and look at tire sizes, you can find the recommended wheel width. They also show the maximum wheel width for a given tire size.
For front tires and wheels, you can easily go with a 275 tire in either 17" or 18" front wheel.

I don't understand what you mean by 18.5 and 18.10. Those are neither valid heights nor widths.
If you are aiming for 275/30/18 front and 315/30/18 rear:
The fronts should fit fine on a 9.5" or 10" wide wheel with the proper offset, and will probably fit on a 9" without issue. (Also a 10.5", sure.)
The rears are likely to fit fine on an 11" rear with the right offset. You may have success on a 10.5", and you're likely to be okay up to 12" as well, but again, proper offsets to not rub. The lower your car, the bigger the chance of rubbing. You may also want to tub out the rear.

You can absolutely fit a 315/30-18 on an 18x10.5 wheel. A C5 Z06 18x10.5 rear wheel (+58mm offset) or replica (58 or 56mm offsets are out there) would be ideal, but you may find it hard to find an 18x9.5 wheel that matches for the front. Chrome wheels in those sizes are out there, as well as others but it's hard to find an 18x9.5 C5Z replica these days.

That's perfect, needed to know here is what I purchased.
Deep Dish Chrome Rims fit Chevy Corvette (C5 style) 18x10.5 I wondered if any body put 315/30 tires on this size rim without any issues. If that will not work I will put 295/35's on the rim. Thanks again!

Yes, 315s will fit on 18x10.5" wheels. In fact, a fellow at autox runs a C5Z with the 18x10.5" stock-wheel square setup, and he runs 315 hoosiers on all four corners. The front stick out quite a bit but does not rub. The rears stick out a little but do not rub either. I think he runs at or near stock height. The tires look kinda funny on the wheels but they mount fine.
