I have no idea what the heck is actually being discussed here for the 5 or 6 posts. Time for me to study up on Corvetteforum-Ebonics so I can follow along.
But I have figured out a couple of things......
On a C5, C6 and C7 Corvette, the shock mounts are so strong you can remove the leaf springs and shocks and replace them with a full coilover suspension and they won't tear out.......Check.
I understand that not all cars have shock towers and mounts as strong as the Vettes.......Check.
Most people have no clue how a shock absorber and its speed sensitive valving actually work.......Check.
I won't even go into swaybars because that could lead some forum members into uncontrollable eye twitching......Check.
