Best steering rack
Redoing my whole front suspension, my rack is leaking and has play. Need to get a new (reman) one. Looking for a place that has one in stock ready to go and I can ship my core in after, I need to get my car off the lift. Anyone have experience with any specific place? Have read about a few people buying reman racks that are already leaking.

It is a crap shoot and I went through this recently. It seems the rack I bought here: https://www.ebay.com/itm/C5-Corvette...53.m2749.l2649 worked well. I have only driven the car 3 times though, but the car felt much better than before.

You can't "rebuild" the magnasteer wire area... so even fancy turn one rebuilds sometimes leak from that orifice right out of the box. Some guys have had success RTVing the wire area before putting any fluid through the rack.
