I’m looking at three possibilities for a new set of tires for a C5. I don’t drive it hard, I just cruise and usually just weekends or running errands.
Least Expensive: BF Goodrich G-Force COMP 2 A/S
Option 2: Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 Plus
Option 3: Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric All-Season
Discount Tire told me the BF Goodrich tires are directional and cannot be rotated side to side, but the Michelin’s are not directional and can be rotated side to side. Not sure about the Goodyear’s.
Would the non-directional tires be a reason to select?
I ran the BF Goodrich G-Force Comp 2's with excellent results on my Vettes. I am now using the Michelin PSS's just because the BFG's weren't readily available in the size I wanted. Another equally good tire choice IMO.

From the 3 choices above, what would you suggest?
thanks
If you don't drive in the snow or cold, I would recommend summer tires. All Season tires are a compromise. Summer tires are better in nice weather and better in the rain.
At this point, you really couldn't pay me to take Goodyears. I have the Pilot Sport A/S 3+. 10,000 miles in I am pretty pleased with the performance and life of the tire and I would likely buy them again. I really wouldn't worry about rotating them since all you can even do is swap sides, and unless you have an alignment issue, wear shouldn't be any different side to side.
I used to be pretty gung-ho about never running all seasons, but times have changed. These are seriously well-rounded tires. From driving the car in Pittsburgh in 15 degree weather to the hottest Texas summer day, I have not been disappointed.
A lot of people seem to like those BFGs, but I had them on my Regal and I thought they were awful. Some of the worst life I've ever gotten out of a tire, and once they started getting a little low, wet traction disappeared.

IF you don’t need all season tires, consider the Hankook Ventus V12 EVOs. They are a very good summer tire and I have driven on them in winter months with no problems. When it gets cold, just be prudent with the gas pedal and you should be fine.
From the three choices you selected i would recommend the Michelin's. The BFG's are solid tires, but for only like a $100 more you might as well get the best all season tire. I'm not very knowledgeable on the Goodyears, i think TireRack has a comparison video with them and the Michelin's.
I have the BF Goodrich G-Force COMP 2 A/S, I absolutely love them, being in Atlanta it can be 21* or 77* in a 7 day span so all season is where it’s at for me, you definitely have to try and break loose with these.
The reason I’m looking at All Season, I read you are not supposed to drive summer tires if it was freezing or close to freezing. We had a cold spell and I didn’t drive my car for awhile and my battery died. Also one of my run flat tires lost all pressure and now won’t hold air over night.

Thanks to all for suggestions.
C5s need battery tenders if they sit for awhile. I have run summer tires on other cars all winter long in Wisconsin. They don't turn into banana peels. Back in the old days there was no such thing as all season tires. We survived.
