Front Wheel Vibrations
So, next, I started getting a howling noise from the left rear wheel bearing. Changed both sides out and that fixed that. Then read about a guy changing the bearings on the fronts to lose a vibration problem he had. But he had found play in the bearings when checking. Mine didn't have any play or roughness when checking them a few times.
So, figured it would not hurt to change them with over 132K miles on them. Did the change out last weekend. Did a few short runs and vibes gone. Didn't have an area to really run for a long time at these speeds and then the weather stop test runs.
Yesterday coming home and jumped on NASCAR I-10 (which I hate to drive on) and finally had an open space for a few miles to test at 80-110 mph. Was able to run it there for about a minute before closing on traffic running in the 75-80 mph range. No Vibes at all. Just road feel.
Learning new stuff everyday in the world of Corvette.

Love my car!
