I'm new to Corvette's so only a stab in the dark here. The passenger side has the removable panel where the BCM is located and maybe there isn't enough room there to add a conventional air duct?

FWIW, the heater on my car (2000 Convertible) is fantastic. Mine has the dual zone system and my wife had her driver's side kicking out 75F yesterday with mine a bit cooler and it was pretty nice driving around the frozen MI back roads.

well you know the C5 just makes heat, no way to keep it out of the cabin, i drove many times with the heater off as things are crazy heat machines, and can t store anything in the console of any value, unless you put a cpl eggs in and have egg salad sandwich in an hour.

To stop the warm air coming out I put the a/c on bi-level for a minute and the air coming out cools & I turn off the a/c.
