Default shocks

About four month ago I bought a 2000 Vert. Since then I replace the Floor Mats, Visors, All Fluids. Spark Plugs (41-110) and Wires. Being 82 I don't do any of the work myself except Detailing and of course Driving. I read all I could find on replacing shocks on a car with the F45 option. My question is, how can I tell if my shocks had been changed some time over the past 20 years and the F45 disconnected.

Check the computer in the rear left cubby and see if it has been disconnected. If it isn't and you don't have error messages, then you're either on original shocks or have different shocks with the shock simulators. To verify which, check your rear shocks for wires attached to them. If they have wires, they are F45 shocks.

Look at the shocks themselves, if there is wiring connected to each shock you have the original F45's, if not you hhave replacements and hopefully C6 Z06 shocks.
You can try and get the number off the shock so you can look it up.
Also, if the F45 swap was done and done properly the computer will not be disconnected and you should have either F45 delete adapters connected to the wiring at each shock OR resistors wired into each shock connector.
