What size did you put on the front of your Z? 255s or 275s?

Default Tire

After much debate I decided on Michelin Pilot Sport AS 3s. I found that in reality there are several good choices of tires available. It comes down to the individual variables you want , price , preformance, wearability , and availabllity. Found mine at BigO Tires. ,$1146.00 ( 245/45-17 n 275/40-18 ) full set, mounted, balanced with free rotation. Guaranteed 45,000 miles , and price includes “Road Hazard Warranty”. Maybe a good deal maybe not but I really needed to make a decision. Found them on line a little cheaper but no national services so spent a little more to deal with national chain. There is no one tire does everything well, it’s a compromise. IMHO. Bob

Can't go wrong with Michelin. Treadlife and traction are good.

Ran Michelins on every sports car I've ever owned. Michelin PSSs hooked in first gear on my C7Z without fail. Unless you're going Toyo R888Rs, there is no better tire than Michelin performance tires.

Idk about your driving habits or if your vette is used for weekend only, i daily my c5 and drive in all conditions and pushed it to the limits on the streets and backroads. I felt bf A/S broke loose a lot sooner than it did with my eagle f1's. The treadwear was a lot faster on the BF's.

Only reason goodyear broke loose was due to old age and having less tread.

Never broke loose with GY d3s and those are summer tires. Probably the best i used because they handled great in pouring rain.
