Don't give this a second thought. You just made your car yours. These cars are things to be used and enjoyed. They feel no pain. My grandmother's (born 1899) wisdom, "that's what bumpers are for." My Corvette has lots of nicks and dings. Badges of honor. A pristine Corvette- showing no signs of use is a thing (or rather an owner) to be pitied.

Burning Brakes
Stopped at an intersection to turn right, I had a yield sign and there was traffic coming. Guy behind me (NO INSURANCE, ILLEGAL ALIEN) decided he didn't need to stop (blamed me - believe it or not). It's fixed, $6K later (tub damaged, required replacement).

Getting a scratch on your vette is like jamming your funny bone, it hurts like hell for more than a minute and you think, “I don’t want to do that again.” Sucks dude - now make a hang down sign so you can be sure you pull in enough.

Hell, I haul firewood and mulch in mine.. the nicks in my car are there to be enjoyed. I'm not a slave to my car. 20 years old and 100,000 miles of careless and uncaring transportation, those who think their car is something other than transportation are really just OCD.

Safety Car
When first got my 99 C5 I went to the track and was waiting to get into the gate to pay my fee. A guy in front of me with a small pickup with a hitch decided to backup and hit me. Luckily he hit my license plate with the ball of the hitch. He bent the plate and scratch the the black plate holder. The car had a tiny little blemish which I was able to compound out. I made him give me 50 bucks for being a dumbass...
