That depends on allot.
Do you want an agreed value on the car or just regular insurance?
I have NCM insurance on my 02 and State Farm on my 99.

How old are you? Do you have young drivers in the household? How many drivers are in your household? What is your driving accident record? How many miles do your drive? What is your budget? Have you contacted your current carrier? How much liability coverage do you need? The best way is to solicit many carriers and see what they quote you. Some people on this forum like The Corvette Museum insurance. My insurance company beat them but that is because of who I am, my age, my driving record, and the number of cars we own. Good luck on your search.

There's that word "best", again. What's best for you may not be best for others. As others have mentioned, too many variables at play, here.
My Z06 is insured with the NCM.

You have to shop around and if you have a clean record and good credit it makes a big difference.

I only pay 466 a year for full coverage but it is a multi car policy on a 1999

Shop around. I had state farm before, but now I have progressive. For me it was the cheapest I could find.

There was a giant thread about this a few months ago, and it seemed many were willing to hope for coverage on a collector car policy that is very specific in allowed usage in exchange for an agreed value policy. Hagerty and American Modern were just under $500 a year for my '04 Z06 on a collector car policy with many restrictions. I have been with USAA for 21 years and found insurance for $325 a year when adding the vette with them and can drive / use the car any way I like. They use Kelly Black Book for valuation as well, so no I am not going to make much money if it is totaled, but certainly will be covered. But that is not what insurance is for.

Also, if you over-insure your car with an agreed value policy and it is in a severe wreck there is more room for your insurance company to repair it and not total it, leaving you with a substantially repaired car that will have zero desirability to someone else.

It's a hard decision for sure!

Avoid Geico. They won't save you any money and you get to pay for those TV ads.

I pay $600 a year for my 02 Z for full coverage from State Farm. It is part of a multi car policy. We live right outside of Chicago.

I plan to go with Hagerty on mine. They have very few restrictions and they will cover a stated value. If you don't care about stated value coverage there are probably some other companies that would offer lower premiums...

2002 Z06 on a multi-car policy - $432. About $300 less than my Mazda6, less than my 2008 E350 van, and about the same as the Miata. I could not believe that the insurance cost was so reasonable.

I have Hagerty insurance on an Exocet as a Lotus 7 replica and there are restrictions. It cannot be a daily driver.

I have had the NCM insurance and they were very reasonable but has restrictions on use of the vehicle.

I have also had insurance with a number of other companies and the coverage terms/premiums can vary considerably.

Since there are a lot of factors that go into an insurance premium, I suggest that you contact a number of companies and see what they quote you. Just be sure to try and keep all the coverage amounts the same so you can realistically compare quotes.

There are a few questions to answer, do you have another car to drive, do you drive it under 6000 miles a year, do you keep it in a locked garage, if yes you win. NCM may be one of the best. 2001 hatchback, all options, drive it year round, insured for $16,500, cost $324/yr.

That's awesome! I'm glad you didn't have to go through what I've heard others had to with them...

Here in southwest Florida, I pay about $550/year for full coverage on my 2000 C5 coupe with Auto Owner's Insurance. I am single, so my rate is higher than that of a married man.
