I don't know what you're doing wrong. Yesterday I talked to the guy who bought mine, and by coincidence, it's in the same town where I work having some new seat work done. By the weekend he's gonna stop in with it and I'm gonna get a video.
That sounds like an unbelievable deal to me. I've been searching for a C5 convertible and most have been between $15,000 and $21,000 here in NJ. I'm actually going to look at an '02 convertible today that has less than 25,000 miles on it. The guy is asking $19,900. I can't believe you can get that one for $14,000. If the car looks good and everything works as it should, then I would grab it immediately! Best of luck to you!
Old tires are not a red flag, just a maintenance item. Convertibles are spectacular. Unless the paint job is ruined or the car needs a new clutch or transmission right away, you have a winner. Get it checked out by a mechanic or a professional inspector (there are such services) and grab that bad boy.
Hello, I have an opportunity to buy a 2001 c5 convertible for with 14K miles for 13k, not familiar with pros and cons with convertibles. Any red flags I should be aware of and is this a good deal?
Love my 04 stick vert CE! It draws the attention, and the fun factor....well...…..
If this car checks out on the major points contained in this thread by your brethren and sisters, you should be all over that car. If you are not, please PM me. I will be all over it!
Q: What is better than one C5 vert in the garage?
A: Two!
