Limited slip ??
I have 97 C5 Base A/T trans. I called dealer and dealer looked up my car by vin and says it is not listed whether mine has limited slip differential. How do I find out if mine has
limited slip differential or not?
Reason is i'm getting ready to replace the differential fluid out and I need to know whether I need to add limited slip additive. I ordered the oem differential fluid with additive add in the diff. fluid already I will see it tomorrow.
If i do use the gear oil with LS additive already in the diff. fluid, will this harm or damage the differential?

You ordered the right fluid. (AC Delco 75w90 LS gear oil with friction modifier additive already included)
