Test Judging of 2003 A/E's at Cincinnati Regional Meet
Our car was accepted with 2 others to be Test Judged at the NCRS Cincinnati Regional Meet in order to establish a basis for the new 2003-2004 Judging Manual. The manual for the previous era was used for a base with tons of photographs and notations made to reference the changes from 2002. Interesting to note was subtle differences between our early Canadian Export car with Bi-lingual labels, window sticker, gauge faces and addition of factory block heater for example not covered on build label. All 3 cars were convertible, 6 speed, had Run Flats and full option from factory. Only 1 was 2nd owner and 1 was Museum Delivery. An Export car was denied Museum Delivery. Mileages ranged from a low of 8,000 to a high of 22,000. A valuable and terrific learning experience as the 5 teams attacked the subject cars. Operations were done outdoors on Thursday and Exterior, Interior, Chassis and Mechanical were done indoors Friday.
The best appraisal you will ever get on a car.
1st, 3rd and last car were the A/E Test cars Judged. Yellow and red car were Flight Judged under current in force system.
Documenting sticker.
Bi lingual door stickers on Export cars
Brought my original AGM Battery for display purposes. Should have been in the engine bay for max points.
Operations check outdoors. It works or it don't.
Mechanical team checking the Numbers.

That’s pretty cool to be selected for that. Mine is nowhere near that quality to be judged like that, I’d be a scared of what they’d say.

A "let's see how good your is" experience contd.
This is the Chassis Judging Team and the person in black is a Lady. They knew what they were looking at and appreciated never having been in the rain..YET. Nice Bar Codes and stickers everywhere. Big 😊
The suspension pucks removed at the dealership after I complained I always had rough "Sport Mode" suspension for 3 months after delivery. GM hadn't done a service bulletin yet. Early car and reportedly 1st retail sale for Eastern Canada.

That’s nice that you’ve kept your 50th AE so pristine. Congrats on all of this!
