My dealer will order Corsas for the car and install them at delivery. Did you change? Why or why not? From what I myself have heard, the Z exhaust isn`t impressive. What Corsas would you recommend for loud WOT but not excessive at cruising speed. I know it`s pretty subjective but I`m looking for some input.
You might want to wait till you get the car and listen to the stock exhaust before you change it out. I put Corsa Exhaust on all my other C5s, but I like the OEM exhaust on the ZO6 better.
I will agree with everyone above. The stock exhaust is nice sounding and very quiet when you lay off the throttle. But if you want it to be obscene, then go with something else.......good luck!
For a little extra HP and a minimum of 10 lbs weight savings, go with the Corsa titanium. A little pricey as far as exhaust go, but you could sell your stock exhaust to offset some of the cost. As far as sound, the Corsa Ti are flat out aggressive and LOUD under WOT but at cruise they are only slightly louder than stock without any resonance (street version). Any RPM under about 2000-2500 is only a little louder than stock, but rip it and these things will scare everyone around. :smash:
I just went through your exact situation. I just traded my 00 pewter HT in on a EB 03 Z06. My HT had the Corsa Indys which I loved. I was planning on taking that exhaust off and putting it on the Z. But until I drove the new Z06, I said that they could keep my old exhaust. Please do not buy into all of this weight savings nonsense with all of the titanium talk. I could care less what the stock Z exhaust is made out of, it does sound pretty damn good. Just my opinion.......
Try to drive a new Z around the block, I think you will like what you here.

Unless you are into real SERIOUS competition, an extra 10 or 20 pounds will not make any difference. :yesnod:
DITO on the save your money and drive the car first plan!!! I really like my stock ZO6 exhaust and unless you hear an exhaust that someone else has that you just love, the stock ZO6 exhaust rocks compared to a standard C5.
I have both and I am looking for a used ZO6 exhaust for my 98! :D
