I currently own a 2001 C5 convertible in Phoenix AZ ( home of the rock chips) . I am thinking about adding a clear bra to the car possibly partial hood or full hood including mirror and rocker panels .
Due to the condition of my car - exceptional with 13K miles . My question is -adding the bra hurt my chances in showing the car ( more or less depending on bra choice).
Thank you - I look forward to your responses.

I have never heard of cars being penalized due to clear bra. Perhaps in a strict concours judging...but otherwise no. I would highly recommend it for the protection it offers, just make sure you use a good installer.
Oh, btw, I take exception to your comment...Detroit IS the undisputed capital of rock chips.

That's awesome that your C5 is in such good shape. Clear bra is definitely the way to go. We have never heard of clear bra affecting results when showing a car. XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS is the Corvette owners go to paint protection film. Check out the video below to see the rigorous tests we put our film through.
The most common protection areas for a Corvette are the full front end and rocker panels as they're the most susceptible to rock chips and road debris damage. Pricing will vary based on labor rates in your market but you can see below the coverage areas and the general pricing.
We have many qualified installers in the Phoenix area. Click here to find the certified XPEL Installers in your area - XPEL In Phoenix
Hope this info helps, let us know if we can answer any other questions.
As long as you have it installed up to a body line, it should be almost undetectable if installed properly. Most exotics these days have film like XPEL installed from day one.
Don't do only part of the hood - you'll see it and it'll look kinda dumb - do the entire front clip or the entire car.
I had the 3M clear bra stuff installed on one my vehicles years ago. After it was on for 5 or 6 years it cracked and turned yellow. Unless today's materials have improved and they don't do this anymore, I would never have it installed again...

I keep hearing that the new tech doesn't yellow blah blah blah. Then a few years pass by and that crap turns yellow. But by then they're saying THIS TIME the new stuff will last forever!
I would stay away from a product called "Diamond Shield". I had it on the front of my motorhome, and it developed a mold under it. Once started, there's nothing that can be done except removal. It was a real P.I.T.A. to get off.

Yeah. Sure.
Jackie,
We certainly understand why you feel that way about clear bra. But we can absolutely assure you that technology has come a long way and our ULTIMATE PLUS film is warrantied for 10 years against yellowing or staining of any kind. Parts and Labor. If it happens, we will have a Certified XPEL installer replace the stained panels for FREE. Ask around on this forum, fellow owners will tell you the same.
We hope that you give Paint Protection Film a shot and that when you do, it's XPEL.
