Default Subtle Details

I love all the wild exterior mods shown in this forum....lots of $$$. Sometimes you can do some subtle details to personalize your C5 without a whole lot of expense. Here are a few I've done....

The stripes on the hood are vinyl products specifically for a C5 with a correct curve to match the hood shape. The Z51 badge is chrome metal and looks better than the photo, the LS1 badges are 3D plastic, and the rest are decals I market for a different purpose. The reason I call them subtle is, from a distance you may not notice these things, as in the last photo, but up close you will. Also nothing that can't be removed. One thing for sure, it's not going to be like anybody else's, and anybody can do little things to make their car unique. Like anything you do, you can't please everybody.

Everyone definitely has their own tastes. Personally, random stickers and badges all over my car is not acceptable. To me, they are eyesores. My idea of subtle is to really keep any modifications "muted" as to not stand out. If the viewer's eyes go right to it, it isn't subtle to me.

But, hey, if the mods you do makes you happy, more power to you! Your opinion is the only one that matters!

Hey FYRARMS- I agree with most of what you said, especially the last part. I think if I didn't point out most of what I pictured, you may not even notice them. They are really very subtle...do you notice them much in this photo?

Honestly, it doesn't matter, man. It is your car!
