Window switch help

My 2000 does not have the memory option. All the options I see for replacing the window switch are crazy expensive. What are my options?

or take it apart and see if the contacts are dirty or worn, file and clean them ???

The drivers switch actually broke in half. The passenger swith fell into the door panel so it’s impossible to press the buttons.

Sorry to hear about your window switch issues. Just another GM lack of using quality parts. Until you resolve your issues, you may want to consider buying a Window Valet. Once program, you tap the open/close on your fob three times and they lower/rise. I use mine all the time in the summer.

Ha! I think I’m at least the 4th owner if this car. No fobs when I purchased it.

Sorry to lean that you purchase the car without the fobs. That sucks.

I’m fairly certain the memory option switches will still work for your non-memory option car. You should be able to get both switches for under $100 shipped off of fleabay. Just pull the door panels off, replace, and enjoy your vette.
