Who stole your wheel covers? (That's what black wheels remind me of) Oh wait, got a 20 year old car and want it to look like a new one? Never mind, I get it.
There are two kinds of people in this world: those who like black wheels, and those who don't. Personally, I don't care for them, but if you like 'em, that's all that matters.
The OEM wheels were powder-coated gloss black. The wheel center caps were spray-painted matching gloss black. The calipers were removed and spray-painted matte black. These were all done professionally. With the calipers off, that was a good time to upgrade the rotors. The only heavy lifting on my part was pen to check.
Thanks for posting the close ups. Couldn't really tell how the wheels look in the first pictures. First time I've seen the stock thin spoke wheels in black. I really like the stock thin spoke wheels. I think they are way under rated. Plus they are very light. Your wheels are now very unique. I would have gone for the red calipers with the red car, but it all looks good. Another feature of the stock thin spoke wheels is how well they show off the rotors. Good move getting new rotors.
I think it looks Awesome, Makes me wanna get some rims in that style in the black too.Lol
One thing really good about the Black rims is Brake Dust doesnt really show up like on the polished rims.
Youre car looks really Nice. Great Choice.
