One of the things about the C5 is the pop-up headlights. I would go with a system that retains that look.

I like them both but if I had my choice, it would be the RF Cannons. They are the only fixed lights I like and those are killer!

I am a fan of the flip up lights. I think they look the best. That being said, if you go with the RFC's, please for the love of pete, paint the shrouds body color!!!!!!!!!

I'm not a fan of flush headlights on a C5, but I gotta hand it to radioflyer those are the best ones I've seen on the market. Tough choice.

The fixed headlights on a C5 always look like an after thought to me. The square housings never seem conducive to a flush mounted, fixed position, headlight assembly. I prefer the flip-up factory assembly on the C5.

It all depends on what you really want overall. Personal experience having the Bi-Xenon ACA headlights from Radioflyer has yielded one of the best upgrades for the money. It absolutely shames the OEM headlights, all the while looking like a factory system with the pop-ups. The SLC's are wicked nice but, at twice the money of the ACA's and losing your feature of pop-up's that somewhere down the line, if you plan to sell is not going to be to everyone's cup of tea, because that is a body modification.

I look at it this way....If your doing a lot of racing the SLC's are the way to go, however if your car is driven for pleasure and the occasional tracking/racing, the ACA's will suffice nicely. Just my .02.

Good luck on your decision....

Upgrade to a c6 if you like the fixed lights.

This is the last generation of the flip up lights keep it that way. I have been looking for a c5 and it kills me to see these lights replaced with the frog lights or any other light that is not stock. It detracts from the over all look and for me I won’t even consider it when I see this modification.

Fixed headlights on a C5 are as ugly as sin. Many potential buyers (including me) won't buy a C5 without pop-up headlights. I've owned several C5s, and I've actaully walked away from some good deals on C5s because the cars didn't have the pop-ups. My advice is to keep the pop-ups, but get the bi-xenon ACA upgrade from Radioflyer.

When it comes right down to it, it's a matter of personal preference. I prefer the pop-ups myself.

WOW! My C5 looks just like the other 248,000 C5's, with popup/wind restricting headlights! I think I will install a BSM so I can be different.... or, install wheels or tires other than stock.... or, or, or!

People modify their vehicle to their taste, NOT yours.
