I had Specter Werks C5-R lights back in 2003-2004... they were so rad back then as they looked like the C5-R race car. Then the C6 came out with proper fixed lights and they looked silly. Now, 15 years later, I agree with all those saying keep a C5 a C5.... the last of the flip-up headlights and they're just awesome. The fixed lights you posted are some of the nicest I've seen, but it still doesn't beat that feeling of turning on the lights and having them come up. You lose that with the C6/7 as the lights are auto and you don't see anything.
So,, the majority of you guys hate the C6 and C7 headlights, too? Yet, many C5 owners think that installing C6 and C7 wheels makes their cars look better.
I'm so confused.

Don't lump me in with the majority Clint, Lol!! Personally, the way the fixed headlights are on the C6 and C7 are just fine. Nothing wrong with fixed headlights on C5's either, just as long as their a good set but, as I previously stated, it's not everyone's cup of tea. Seemed like for awhile, there were brands coming out of the woodworks that the looks and quality were anything but good. C5 with fixed headlights looks far better than someone disgracing a C3 with fixed headlights, which personally I consider sacrilegious, especially a chrome bumper one.
Wheels?? I really have no opinion on. There's just so many options out there, for people to choose from. It's definitely one avenue of modification that everyone can see, and to some degree be exclusive for the owner including newer generation Corvette wheels. That trend has been going on since the transition from C1 to C2. Whatever makes the owner happy, their name is on the title.
