Getting ready for a car show this weekend in Friendswood, Tx and after finishing up, snapped some shots. Was struck once again how much Anniversary Red shifts colors based upon the time of day, angle of lighting, etc. Pretty cool color.

It sure does ! In the late afternoon sun it really pops.

But, in cloudy weather or at night, it looks like a dingy brown.

Really cool flake and tinted clearcoat. Definately a unique color.

The Anniversary Red paint is one of the best that has come out on any generation Corvette IMO. It has just enough metallic in it to really sparkle and as you mention, depending on how the light hits it it can appear to be different shades.
