I went to a small, low-key show today, the first one that I've ever attended as a participant. I didn't win a trophy, but I didn't expect to, either. I did take some pictures, however. Here are some of them. Enjoy!
Sadly, not a single C2 or C3 showed up.

Reason: fix the pix
Ok, the pictures should be there now. Thanks for letting me know. I forgot that there's more than one way to add images, and one of those ways doesn't seem to work.
Looks like you had a great time, hope you meant some new corvette friends.
The cars were great, but half the fun is hanging out and meeting people and hearing their perspectives. There was a fair amount of talk about the C8. A couple of the attendees were both Korean War veterans. All kinds of interesting stuff.
Awesome, glad you had fun, beautiful C5 still one of my favorite gens. I go to shows with my 17 Z, but would have a heart attack if I won anything.. never expect it it's just fun to see all the cars and people. There is a huge bias at most shows to anything newer than 1970 around me. They even group my 17 Z in the "1990 and newer class" I think it's ridiculous.. below that they have a million classes. might be nice to have a class that would represent the different generations.. a nice clean car is awesome new or old in my opinion. My car is cleaner than cars that just rolled off showroom floor, looks like yours is too. I won't live long enough for my car to be accepted, I feel bad for the newer cars not placing. There are lot's of "new" muscle Vettes, Challengers, etc., etc with younger guys that get kinda frowned on and turned away.. bad for the community.. they get discouraged. I appreciate all cars.
I'm originally from Takoma Park, MD next to Silver Spring. Thanks for sharing these pics of a great gathering of cars! That looked like a show worth attending!
