4eyec5 low rise headlights... about to install

I wouldn't recommend drilling holes in the upper stop supports. I believe it would only degrade the strength of them. I've cut and trimmed four stops from a 1" nylon rod I ordered from Amazon. Now I need to use a Dremel tool to carve out the slot. I'll post photos after I'm finished.

I had a question maybe you guys could help with.
Just installed the driver's side 4eye kit. I put the new nylon vibration stops on the back and cranked the manual **** to put a good amount of pressure on them.. it says until "Very Firm" so I went pretty damn hard on them... after that, I put headlight in and put the new lowstop in, I completely bottomed the bolt out though, that was about where the headlight stopped with the new vibration stops installed. I got everything back together and now when I open the headlights it doesn't fully open to the new lowstop, it stops from the vibration stops being so tight. I can then manually open the lights a little bit more to actually hit the new lowstop, but then there is so much tension that the light will not go down by itself, I have to actually take some tension off using the manual ****. This is making me think the headlights aren't opening far enough...Has anyone had this issue at all? Maybe I went too hardcore on the manual raising against the vibration stops? Any help would be appreciated.

Update to post #300...
I finally got a dry night last Tuesday and got the car out to test the vibration and to adjust the headlights.
The vibration is way less, I’d say 90% less. I’m way happier. This will do until I come up with a more permanent option. Still waiting on George to make some stops, since the 4eyeC5 guy doesn’t appear to want to sell his.
I also got the luminator low rise HID’s adjusted lower and now I don’t think they are blinding oncoming traffic. At least no one highlighted me on the last couple of test runs after adjusting.

I was able to get a response one time from an email another member gave me, but the vendor never would reply back to me after several attempts afterwards when I tried to make the purchase. Seemed shady, but if my hard earned money ain’t the same as people on Facebook, so be it.

Thanks guys, but I just don’t live that way. If I can’t get them honestly, I can live without them.

Wow, a lot of commotion over some dumb headlight stops...
First World problems
Someday I'll buy some Hella lights to finally use the bracket kit that has been sitting in my basement for a month.

A while back before I bought my kit, I did some digging around in the Facebook group for such information... there was a single post where someone mentioned the focal point of a rebased HID bulb is wrong for the Hella projectors. I currently have ACA headlights with Mini H1 projectors and HID bulbs/ballasts, so it would be convenient to reuse the ballasts. Let's just say, my eventual choice was to buy the recommended Hikari LED bulbs.

Stuck headlight adjuster when installing 4eyeC5 kit?
For any of you who need a LEFT side horizontal adjuster, I have an extra one. I couldn't get mine freed up, so I bought a new one and installed it. When I got the old one out, I was able to work it free after a few days. By then I had my install finished. I'll put this in the 'For Sale section" in a few days, but I'll give first dibs to the folks doing this install.
Ten bucks plus shipping.
