Yeah. Sure I could figure the wiring out.
I was wondering what specific light was installed.
18” strip lights are somewhat generic from places like Superbrightleds and Diode Dynamics. They are also easily found on ebay but I advise caution because of quality variations. The first 2 places are reliable and stand by their product. You just need to bare the wires and tap into the lines being aware of polarity. If the strip doesn’t light, reverse the wires. I have red ones in mine, but I don’t think I have a pic to show you. Ok, just took a couple of pix. The second one shows my under door puddle light strip and electrified door reflector.
I went with Metra, I’m very happy with the look and results. Friends can’t tell the difference unless I say something, they think it’s factory. Took a few minor tweaks and trial fits to get it all perfect. I did the saws all method, ( don’t be scared) I did a license frame back up camera, Kenwood DNR476S navigation head unit, kenwood 300w amp for a Kicker 6 3/4 sub woofer, Rockford Fosgate in the doors, Hertz 6 3/4 in the back. Built a 9x16 wedge shape sub cabinet that sits right behind the seats, carpeted to match, with storage bins at each side of the sub cabinet. I didn’t want to break the bank, but still have new car touch and sound. With the small sub right behind the seats it sounds pretty dang good. I am happy for the $1,600 I spent, which includes the Metra bezel and sub cab. Building the cabinet, installing the back up camera and head unit, bezel I have around 16-18 hours in it.
