NAPA Gold filters are made by Wix, even use the same numbering system - and a lot easier to find that actual Wix filters.

Wix, Amsoil, Royal Purple (same as Amsoil filter), or K&N.

Get a K&N HP-1007. It's not the cheapest filter, however it always scores at or near the top on oil filter tests and it's why I've used them on all my vehicles since 1996.

I used to use them when they were American-made, but once they went to Mexico, the quality began to suffer, so I went back to Wix.
