Default New ACDELCO rebuilt alternator

Bought a rebuilt one 4 days ago and my volt meter was all over the place today and took it in to have tested. The voltage regulator was bad. Two year warranty so I will get a new one. I wonder how many of these rebuilt ones i will go through before i get a good one? Good thing it only take 30 min to change.one out.

Do a search. These cars have alternator problems. That’s all I’ll say. You’ll have a book to read via search.

Close to 20 years of data. Reading for 1/2 hour will clue you in.

Had a rebuilt one installed two months ago, no problems. Best of luck.

You should have gotten your stock alternator rebuilt. Probably too late for that as I'm guessing you turned your's in for a core??? Anyhow, best wishes on your alternator problem.

I ordered a used one from a 2001 vette w 50k miles. For 20 bucks i get a two year warranty with it. If that one goes bad i may get it rebuilt. I dont know of any places in my area that rebuild them
