Default C5 cupholders

Has anyone seen this dual cupholder? Slides into empty ashtray hole. Bought this way back in 2003. Much MUCH better than anything I currently see on the internet from anyone, including a similar looking one. Made by V. J. L., Evergreen, Colorado. Need another one. Any info on where I might find one is much appreciated. Thanks.

First time I see one like that. It really is different!

I tried Googling it, but didn't get any hit

Default Clear Option

My choice wad something called the Clear Option.
It slides in with no screws or drilling. Ffolds away when not in use and doesn't block the passenger. And the arms articulate to hold any size. Google the name. I think they are still made. I have one for me and one for passenger.

Since I am the only one that usually in the Corvette, I only need one drink holder. This is the one I bought that fits perfectly in the cup holder space.

I've never seen that model before. Good luck in your search for a replacement. Personally, I've never been a fan or OEM cup holders or cup holders in the center console that are located near electronics, shifters, etc., so I've opted for the Travel Buddy for both my C5 vert and C7Z. I may have a slightly longer reach, but I like the location.

Yikes. That thing is huge. Where do you store it when not in use?

I prefer non-bulky options that are easily stored. The simple solution from Corvette Clips is perfect for me.

I got one at Carlisle years ago - love it - and my buddy tried it in his Miata and it worked there as well!

I have not seen that exact one but it looks similar to one I picked up off Amazon.

Don’t take it out at all. I’ve always got a cup of coffee of other drink in there so it’s pretty much permanent. I take it out during a thorough interior cleaning once in awhile.

Hi CY: I got the Corvette Clips and like it a lot, also have a single folding one on passenger side for bottled water only. Not to de-rail this thread but what Radio/Head unit and faceplate are you using & do you like it? I am thinking of going with a single din just so I can use my flashdrives. Dave

I have a Kenwood KMM-BT315U in a "Humount" face plate from Maptech Enterprises. I have likes and dislikes about it...

Likes: Well-made and sturdy, nice finish, fits flush.

Dislikes: It protrudes a little too much. I can't get the shifter/radio bezel to snap 100% into place on the passenger side. There is a small gap, which annoys the heck out of me. I am going to either sand down the rear of the bezel or somehow get the face plate to sit deeper so I can push the bezel in place all the way. It isn't a big gap, but you can still see it. Also, the LED lighting is too bright at night. I need to get it dimmer. Honestly, I will probably either pull the bulbs or sell this plate and buy a non-lighted version. Too cheesy for my taste.

How about visors, do you have good ones or are the ears floppy?

This thread is over a year old, and has nothing to do with visors. Why did you post this here?
