Ok, still cool car! Have fun, why not keep both? You know you’re going to miss it.
I still have both for now, but the vette is up for sale. Reason being, is to save money on insurance and take the money gained from selling the vette and pay off the CTR quicker. I'll miss the hell out of the vette, but I want to end on a good note and not a bad one (like blowing up or something lol )

I like that car..so far I have seen 1 at a car show. Pretty crazy looking and it is fast. Only reason why I like the WRX better is AWD so you can go in the snow with it. Good luck with it. I have a Ridgeline so I'm a Honda fan.
Congrats! It’s a great car and one that I’ve thought about along with a JC Works Mini, Focus RS and WRX Hatch. The last 2 are no longer made so they might be out of the picture for me.
I’m also an active member of my Corvette club so I don’t know if I would want to make that jump anyway.

Yeah it is over the top with its design but I still love the looks for some reason lol I did look at the WRX but it just wasn't as comfortable or as good in mpg as the type r, cause I did want AWD.

The focus RS is a nice and fun car to drive, though its more of a weekend beast. And yeah my corvette club wasn't happy about it. They got mad and trash talked the Type R, even sent C5 to race me to "prove" to me that I "downgraded". he lost badly
I would volunteer for a castration before having a Honda in my garage.
Good, cause with that statement, it marks you as apart of the problem with the car world and car community. We all love cars and have different tastes lol no need to go overboard talking about what manhood you have and or don't have lol Also stat for stat on the Civic Type R versus the C5 Corvette, the corvette loses is almost all categories, if not all categories.
Such sillyness. Did they ever see that 1000hp Honda Odyssey?
My guess no lol I'm pretty sure all the guys talking **** don't even know what a Type R is in the first place That's how I get most people to race me There is a whole crew of 392 challengers and I beat their president by 3 cars and now they worship the car

I had a Honda Element, and one reason is that NO ONE built a basic vehicle like that with that many cubic feet of useful passenger/hauling space. My only regret was that it wasn't AWD, and didn't offer a bigger engine. What a great vehicle. However, Honda did 'experiment'. They took one and put a modified Acura v6 in it and made it into an exhibition drift car. Very cool.
As an eclectic car fan, I must say I find the above conversations very unproductive, comparing one apple vs. another. I ran into that on a Lexus IS300 forum. There's always a faster car somewhere.

I like when honda experiments lol like the 196 hp lawnmower that does 100+ mph. and Fair enough, I just find it funny when people trash on a car that isnt a pontiac aztek
