Default Cutouts?!

I have a 99 C5 Coupe and I want to put some electric cutouts off my headers so I can have a “straight pipe” system when I want😂 what are some good ones that don’t leak?

Thanks!

Make sure they specify that they will fit a Corvette. They have to be "low profile" and the standard cutout will not fit. Unfortunately, this makes it easy to add the Corvette tax to them. When I got my Vette, I think they were twice as much as the ones I had on my LS1 F-body.

Here are some examples:

If you want to do it much cheaper and don't mind it being "always on" you can have any exhaust shop do the exhaust bypass mod for about $20 per side:

I have been totally happy with my DMH units for over a decade. No issues at all and a LOT of fun.

My Z06 has QTP's installed but I've only opened them up, once.

I ran the 3" manual Summit Racing ones on my Z for about a year and they were open all the time.
