Default leaky windows

Just purchased a very nice C5 convertible- 3 owner 77k miles and in great shape.
Issue is windows sealing against the convertible top frame at top rear corner of both drivers and passengers window.
It takes four hands to hold the window and raise it so window seals against the weather stripping. Both sides. There is a clip at the top of the window to "guide" the window into the proper position but its too short and window is already against the outside off the top at the back edge.
Any advise-solutions you have used to solve the problem?
Thank you for your suggestions.

The glass may need adjusting, Auto glass shop may need to do it or if you can figure how to do it, probably a video on youtube. This problem is common on frameless car windows. People tend to use the glass to close the door, bad idea. Besides loosening the glass it gets fingerprints on it.

The small clip is not a guide. It is there to hold the window in at high speeds. (Anti-blowout tabs)

I don't own a vert but seem to recall there is an adjustment procedure for the top to eliminate the interference of the glass and the top.

Take a look at this link. https://redirect.viglink.com/?format...-and-tips.html

You may also need to adjust your window tilt.

I have a number of Word files that discuss the water leak and window adjustment issues. Not going to say for sure that they have what you are looking for, but if you want a copy of the files, just PM me your e-mail address and I'll send them to you. Be sure to say what files you are looking for in your reply.
