Default Help on possible purchase

Looking at a 2004 Corvette coupe. It is a one owner car with 7,700 miles. Medium Spiral Gray Metallic exterior over black interior. Is an auto car with no mods. Super clean car. He is wanting 18K. Thoughts on this?

I really like that color. No so much the auto, but with those miles, I'd go for it.

Anything I need to look for on the car? Any RPO codes? I have never owned a Corvette. I do own a 1999 Camaro SS that I purchased when it was 2 years old.

Love that color too. It’s actually the color I was looking for until I saw the one I have. I say go for it too.

That does not sound like a bad price for an '04 with those miles. If everything checks out, go for it. You'll love the car.

Make sure you check reports for accidents etc., Just my opinion but I would still get it checked out, bumper to bumper. If all is well, it sounds like a nice C5. I love the color. Good luck!

If it has been garaged, has a clean title, history, and service records, I wouldn't hesitate if I was looking.
Just change all of the fluids and check the date on the tires. You can also factor these things into your negotiation.

Older gentleman owned it and just passed away. Family states the changes the tires and fluids. Said he kept the original tires.

Do these cars have tpms in the wheels?

I think the price is high - and, if you're trying to finance - you may have an issue financing that much money for a 15 year old car. I think a more fair price is around $16K. Just my $.02 since you're asking. Good luck! Sounds like a nice find.

Very easy to finance old cars.
Plenty of places with low rates too for these cars.
Collector car financing is out there.

If clean title and accident free. A steal.
