Default Cheap techron?

I was going to buy a Techron concentrate fuel system cleaner at Walmart, saw supertech (Walmart brand) for .97 cents.

Could it be the same chemical, which I think is PEA?

Didn't buy either, buy might try cheap stuff on daily driver.

How could one find out what both are, and if both are PEA, find out percentage?

The one you want is the 20 oz, bottle of Techron complete fuel system cleaner. Make sure you're tank is down to a 1/4 of a tank then add right before filling so the Techron gets mixed into both tanks. On a side note if you use Shell 93 octane or Mobil 93 plus Chevron 93 they have the additive that helps prevent gas gauge reading issues.

You're running a Corvette and worried about 3 bucks to help keep it running better?

Advance Auto and Amazon both have the Techron 20oz on sale for $7.99 and last I checked, AutoZone had it buy one get one free.
I think I got like 8 bottles of the stuff out in the garage. About to own 3 C5s so I need it

I have noticed AutoZone's and Walmart's Chevron Techron concentrate says they treat 10 gallons, and 15 gallons.

I meant try the cheap one on the PT Cruiser, not the Corvette.

I run Chevron, and Shell, and Costco premium gas on Corvette, and put in Techron concentrate a couple of times a year.

Probably just put Techron in PT Cruiser too, it's my daily driver since June.

Where do you find the 20 ounce? Edit someone mentioned AutoZone, I thought it was 15 ounces, will double check and buy there.

91 is highest octane in Arizona and California, I once found 93 octane in Texas while visiting family.

Never have tried the Walmart stuff but have used the Techron Concentrate for many years. Usually add a bottle about twice a year. Haven’t had any fuel sensor issues in three C5s.

They've got 3 bottle big packs from Costco. I think they're 15 bucks for three of them.

The same I used it on an 89 Mustang I had. It ran perfectly with 250000 miles on it. I should have kept it. I actually had an emotional moment when that car drove away after I sold it.

The people over at bobistheoilguy.com forums are obsessive/nerdy about this stuff, so I would trust what they have to say.

I usually buy the 6 pack of 20 oz. on Amazon, equals out to like $ 9.75 per bottle. There's also a 12 oz pack of 6 that I use for my G6 daily which has a smaller capacity gas tank so the large bottles are not needed.

It's this one

Chevron 65740-CASE Techron Concentrate Plus Fuel System Cleaner - 20 oz., (Pack of 6)
