2000 frc
i preferred my 2000 because they made 1/2 as many of them, they had the nicer wheels, the stock cam's worth a couple more ponies than the 97-99s, and i want to say the z51 sway bars got beefed up a little in 2000 as well.
as for FRC options: fewer paint colors, HUD, Bose, dual-zone a/c, fog lights, body side mouldings, and magnesium wheels. somebody add in if i missed one (i've heard debatably that there was a manual driver seat option but ain't seen one).
the forced configurations: black base interior, Z51, manual transmission.

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts

I scored myself a 2000 Arctic White FRC in 2002 or 2003 for almost $10,000 off (sold to me for $25,500). Held onto that ride for nearly 11 years until I sold to another Corvette Forum brother.
Loved it!! Just be cautious buying a Corvette 3 Generations and 19 years old. Parts are becoming scarce. I needed a new windshield weather-seal and could not find one ANYWHERE!! Had to proceed with caution on days where rain was expected.
By far, I still have love for that car but had NO REMORSE selling to a good home and replacing with a 2013 C6 Z06....in Arctic White, of course!!
BTW, in all the years I owned my 2000 FRC in Arctic White, I have NEVER (not one single day) ever seen another Arctic White FRC on the road or in person, ever. And this now makes 19 years I have never seen any Arctic White C5 FRC on the road!!

To say the 2001-2004 are worse than 99-00 doesn’t make sense, which is what you’re saying stating ‘00 is best.
And if you want white it’s hard to argue ‘01 Speedway White isn’t one of the rarest and most sought after C5s of them all.
Still have not pulled the trigger, but getting closer
thnx again
