funny aren't the threads the ground so if it conducts better that wouldn't be a good thing ????
Obviously a good ground is important, but what happens with copper anti seize is the spark from the center electrode randomly jumps to case where the copper isx preventing a spark to the outer electrode which causes misfires. I've personally had it happen and upon inspection of the plugs you can clearly see multiple carbon tracks (like little black lines traveling down the center electrode insulator). Silver (aluminum) anti seize does not induce misfires like copper. Copper and aluminum also cause corrosion when forced together (galvanic reaction). I'm only sharing my experience on this to help prevent other members from experiencing the problems copper anti seize can cause, however if someone likes the stuff, hasn't had any problems and wants to use it, go for it, won't hurt my feelings, lol.
Gezz guys! Now I'm sorry for the thread I posted. Just wanted a little input not to start bomb throwing.
Its all good. You will find on any car forum where there will be questions asked where there is always a persons preferred way of doing things and any other way is wrong type of deal. It's just the way it is.

I don't think anyone is right or wrong here. I was only sharing my bad experience using copper anti seize and what people on other forums have experienced. Autolite, NGK and AC Delco all recommend against using any sort of anti seize, so I guess we're all wrong in that sense, but I still use it anyway. Debates like this are no different than what oil is better, oil filter, spark plug wires, oiled air filters vs dry filters, tires, etc, etc. I guess it's my fault for getting off topic, but it looks like most agree that using some sort of anti seize is a good idea, especially with aluminum heads.
