Default Windshield washer tank

My windshield washer tank leaks however I cannot find where. I took it out and it looked fine. I took out the float and the pump and added silicone to make sure no fluid would escape and parked in the garage overnight. In the morning I checked the car, no fluid in tank and no fluid on the floor. Any ideas.

Are you saying you filled up the tank at night and by morning it was all gone with no signs of fluid anywhere? That's beyond bizarre. Is it April 1st

Might be a good idea to just replace the tank.
Amazon Amazon
has a new GM tank for just over $50 that includes the pump and fluid level sensor.

The tanks are relatively cheap to buy and easy to install - just get a new one and not worry about a leak any more.

I had a similiar issue. I would fill my tank with fluid and after a few days would get the warning it was empty. I traced the problem to one of the outlet hoses that was funneled close to the left hood hinge. Apparently the hose over time was being pinched every time the hood was opened/closed and eventually created the hole. I fixed the hole and rerouted the hose and all is fine.

Dealt with this issue myself recently. Mine was leaking from the where the motor goes into the tank. The rubber grommet was failing.

How did you fix the issue? I tried to find the grommet using online parts finders, but no avail.
