The paint code for pewter is U382E, but keep in mind that is the correct code but depending on the year of the car, the shade of pewter drifts from a silver tone to a more golden color.
to Well I started this not very well worded thread because I was thinking there's likely a few other GM cars with the same hue of pewter that might be easier to find off the rack than a real Corvette color..
OK I have to visit the AZ..I see ebay has some stuff too. I tried that ebay once way back and never received the paint. I want the simplest way one-step process..I don't want to get technical anyway, just dab a couple tiny chips on my strakes.
But great info guys, many kudos
Mine is a '99

I used that stuff from the local stores to paint a headlight cover it was a no go I ended up scraping off the paint 4 times because it didn’t match up. Best way I found is to go to a local shop and ask if they use a camera to match the paint. It might be a bit more expensive but it will match. With oxidation and natural fade it’s a pretty close to a 100% match up if your painting skills are up to par. Our cars require the old paint you know the good stuff with the chems lol.
