Default rear suspension

I own a 1999 Corvette with about 37000 miles. The car doesn't seem to track true on the freeway Seems to want to wonder in both directions. Had a similar problem with an Eldorado in the past. With that car the rear suspension was worn and needed replacement. That car had much higher miles. Any advice on what my problem might be or if you may have had a similar problem? Thanks!

There's not really much in the rear suspension to "wear out." Bushings, tie rods, shocks, and the leaf spring is really about it. Shouldn't be hard to determine if any of those are worn out and need replacing

Truth is, it is hard to tell if the rear tierods are shot. You really have to reef on them and have the car up in the air to see what's happening. Doesn't take much to have the car act crazy with a 285 tire and loose tierod ends.

Agree though, really need more info. What he describes could be 100% in the front end.

Okay what is your tire info. Name brand, runflat or not, mileage on them, but most of all what are the date codes. The numbers are in a square box on the sidewall. The first two are the week they were made and second two are the year made
