Hi, I have a millennium yellow C5 that still has the chrome rims, but I have a set of black Z06 rims. can you guys recommend a good set of tires to put on the ZO6 rims that would work on my car, and ones that wont "rub" when I take corners. Thank you
If I'm not mistaken, getting OE spec tires is very challenging. I have read that some are using 275/40/17 front and 285/35/18 rear (assuming you are speaking of C5 Z06). Conti and Sumitomo put out some decent rubber in these sizes, based on a quick check.
Hope this helps and I'm sure others will weigh in on their experiences.
Thank you, the tires that are on there now are 245/45 ZR17 front and 275/40 ZR18 rear
The tires that were on the ZO6 rims were 265/40 ZR17 front and 295/35 ZR18 rear

The tires that are on your car will be fine putting them on the Z06 wheels. These wheels on my car are C5-Z06 size With the same size tire that is on your car now. Ten years with this combo, no problem.
