Never had this problem; based on another forum member's good review of an item he purchased from a Vendor that advertises on this forum, I also purchased this item. Before installation I questioned the vendor about the possibility it will not be "legal" as it is, where I live. I get maybe one email a day at most, does not really answer all my questions etc. so yesterday I send him another email and then look for a phone number. His website has NO phone number!! WTH !! Do not really know how to resolve this successfully; suggestions please! Thanks, Dave
There is a Transaction Feedback section you can post your side of the story in, and the vendor can respond if they wish. Probably won't though, unless you specify whom it is and all of the details, which would benefit all.
What is it? "Legal as-is where you live" isn't always something that a vendor can tell you or should be responsible for. A supercharger? Yeah they can probably tell you. An LED light on your license plate? Probably outside of the vendor's scope...
So I went to the feedback section as Lewis suggested, guess I am the Lone Ranger. I will give it till the end of Monday to see if I can get it resolved. Dave
What are you talking about? Is there a reason you are being so secretive? Why would a vendor be responsible for telling you what is legal where you live? Lots of stuff that is not legal to run on cars is sold all over in many venues...

You misunderstood or I did not make it clear, I am upset about the communication with the vendor, NOT the product! Understand?

There are a few vendors that do not disclose phone numbers as a contact option. Could be the operation is small and they would prefer to answer inquiries through PM or e-mail. One option that you can pursue is to ask your question to someone in either you local PD or state highway patrol and see what is said. Years ago when I was looking to buy a product and was unsure of its legality in the state, I called the Highway Patrol and got my answer right away.

I understood completely, still wondering why you won’t post what it is and maybe someone reading will know if it is legal in your area. The vender may not know.....

I also live in S.E. Pennsylvania and would be happy to give an opinion regarding your question of legality. If there's no reason not to disclose more details, let us know what it is you're talking about...

Sorry for the confusion! It has to do with exterior lighting, there are many options in order to meet State Inspection Law and I am trying to determine if I chose the wrong option. MY issue is with the LACK of communication on the Vendor's part but I will patiently wait and see if it gets resolved. Thanks for all the advice. Dave
