Has anyone had good success with dash (HUD & DIC Panels) LED's. Got a Kit from a national supplier but the lugs are too shallow to allow the LED to turn enough and engage solidly. As soon as I think they are engaged and I move the dash pod at all they come loose. The ones from https://www.superbrightleds.com look closer to factory. I've had the dash in and out 2 times now! Also...anyonbe have the pin ID on the connectors so I can test out of the car before putting the whole thing back in to make sure the polarity is right?

I bought some LEDs from a forum vendor and had to use a small file to fit each one. Was kinda' a PITA but with a few hours work it came out nice. Make sure to check the polarity of the board AND each LED!
When I did my door switches, fog/trunk, center council traction thing, I used a Dremel and had to grind everyone by hand. It took a few days but it looks great in purple! I plan to do the dic and hud when I add the hud this off-season.
I used a sand wheel and a green bur on mine. I worked 16 years in a dental lab with similar hand pieces so no biggie.
One other option is to remove the leds from the base and solder to the boards. Some also took a circular file and opened the boards a bit to fit them.
Not having issues with fitting in hole but staying there - lugs (as illustrated are not deep enought to keep LED in place. Cant do any griding to make lugs deeper. Hopefully new ones will be a better fit.
Possible some super glue on the lugs to add more to them? Not super glue the in place though! But just to add more beef? Then you can grind as needed?
i wanted/did purple to match the pace car purple so I could only find 2 choices. The one that did fit nice was too dull and more pinkish. So I wound up hand grinding them all too fit as mine were too large.
Let ot us know the results and we can all go from there if another issue. I figured id never have to replace them again so a little work is no issue.
