I just had to replace my turn signal bulbs, then as usual I took the car for a quick spin. Except this time when I turned on the headlights all of my interior lights went out. Dash, center console, even the door panel all went black. I read all of the posts about interior lighting problems, checked my fuses, checked that all of my lights were working (actually one of the new bulbs had a couple of LEDs out, but that proved unrelated). Couldn't find anything wrong.
Turns out the dimmer **** had been turned all the way down. I certainly didn't do it on purpose, and it's not in a spot where you would accidentally bump it. I have to think someone reached in while it was parked with the top off and messed with it.
Could have been a lot worse, but I'll think twice before I park it at the grocery store on my way home from a drive next time.
Someone tried to take the emblem off my waterfall one day when my top was down broke it in half. Now I need to replace it. Looks like **** with half it missing.
