I have a 2001 base vette. While putting on the CAI I dropped the MAF and some of the plastic broke off. I was still able to use it. But I have a chance to pick one up from a 2000 zo6 and wanted to know if it would cause problems to use it?

the z06 maf will work but it doesn't have a screen and may need a tune recalibration to work optimally but you can take it apart and swap your original housing onto the z06 maf

That's right. I dont know why I assumed it was a 2000. He does not say the year it belonged to. But if I need a tune if I get it, it might not be worth it.
Curious - I went to Rock Auto to see what they show. 2000 is different than 2002 and 2004 is the same as 2002. Interesting that for 2002, 2004 only AC Delco shown (no Walker)…
