My C5 has had an issue with the rocking/sliding seat for a few years now. I ordered what I thought would completely fix the issue, but it has not. What I did fix was the seat sliding back upon acceleration and sliding forward upon braking, what is still an ongoing issue is the seat slightly rocking back and forth when I'm sitting in it. I have tried to replicate the problem from outside the car to see if I could locate the issue but have not so far. I have looked on the forums to see how to fix this issue but seem to find the same issue that I have already taken care of by replacing the plastic shims. Is there a fix for the remaining issue of the rocking?
Besides the problem with the shims (sliding seat), there is also the possibility of 1 or 2 flanges at the rear of the seat track being bent or broken (rocking seat).

I fixed sliding seat on my Z06 seats with shims. I replaced the flange per the above video, but the old ones were fine and new ones made no difference. My seat still rocks a little but for daily driving I don't really notice it. For when I care enough, I plan to try out this fix: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...post1599251414
I had rocking chair. It's the pinnacle of annoying when driving. Ultimately I fixed it by going to manual seat tracks on the drivers side. Zero perceived motion while driving now.
