This weekend I’ll be in Concord, NC for the Queen City Corvette Club’s 8th Annual All Corvette Car Show at Hendrick Motorsports.
Along with the car show Saturday are 2 optional tours.
One is the Hendrick Heritage Center tour of Rick Hendrick’s car collection including several VIN# 001 Corvettes.
The other is a tour of the Hendrick Race Shop’s NASCAR race teams.
On Sunday I will be at the ZMAX Dragway for the NHRA Carolina Nationals.
I don’t think I’ve ever had a better weekend lineup!
Hoping that some folks here from the forum may attend as well.
To far for me to drive, but sounds like a great weekend for you, or anyone for that. matter.
If you leave today, you should be able to make it Mark!

Look me up. I’ll be in my TR 03 Z06 and I’m gonna wear my Corvette Forum T-shirt.
Ive never been to this show, so I don’t know if cars are parked by generation or how it’s organized.
I hope to meet some forum members there.
No doubt Mr. H has the connections to have a C8 there. I can’t wait to see his collection. That’s a bucket list item!
I went to Jeff Gordon Chevrolet in Wilmington NC for the C8 revel and one of the rep said a C8 would be in Charlotte this Saturday.
I guess we will see.
Well it’s confirmed, there’s a white C8 at the Hendrick Motorsports Complex for the weekend.
There’s a thread in the Southeast section titled Bloomington Gold that has a pic of it, if anyone wishes to see it.
I’ll see it in the morning and hope to meet several forum members there also.
The show was so awesome, over 500 Vettes!
Here’s the one I’m most proud of. I’ll post several more first chance I get.
We are at Hickory Motor Speedway right now for the Saturday night races. The birthplace of NASCAR.
Thank you Clint, I was really humbled. There were so many nice Vettes there.
They started the awards early while we were touring Rick Hendrick’s car collection, and I wasn’t even there to accept it, but they were kind enough to hold it for me.
Unfortunately, they would not allow any photos of the collection, but WOW, it was amazing!!!
