Abs ebcm module repair
Question guys, looking at a 99 corvette and I know some details about the EBCM and I know they can't be repaired on early C5. If and when the EBCM goes (functioning at present) what is the down side to driving the car with out EBCM not working as it should? I assume U will still have brakes but no the ABS functionality and a light on the dash. Thanks

I often wonder the same thing since I have owned my 99 for 20 years and have no plans of selling it. I can live with no ABS if I could just figure out an easy way to clear the lights from the dash.

I drove my car for about 2 years without the ebcm. No abs and no traction control. But then again, I never needed either of them (luckily). Only annoying thing was the lights in the dash constantly going off. Hopefully the one in the car your looking at has already been replaced. If it has over 50k miles chances are it’s been already done.
